I use Windows 10, bit, version Since I am located in Greece, I have downloaded and installed Greek language pack for Windows, to use it with my keyboard, whenever it is required Greek and Greek Polytonic. However, when I try to install the Greek pack for my Office, by downloading the " setuplanguagepack.
Please, observe the following screenshot image it is in Greek, since the download link is available at Microsoft web page in Greece, but it clearly shows the Error Code at the end :. No matter what my efforts were, this glitch comes over again and again. For everyone's information, about an hour ago, I also received and installed the latest updates for my Office, but even after this, the error continues to appear.
For everyone's information, I am also giving the current situation for the Office installed in my computer, regarding the language preferences.

As someone can see from the above screenshot, English language is the default one, having been installed and enabled, together with the proofing tools. Greek language seems to be enabled , but not installed and - of course- without any proofing tools.
The area " Add additional editing languages " gives a lot of choices to the user, but Greek language cannot be selected to be added, perhaps because it is already there in Windows. I am reading in the Net that various users face the same problem. However the proposed solutions vary and I could not find a straightforward one for a case like mine.
Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. I just downloaded, installed and run it, but there was no result. In fact, after running the fix, I received a note on my screen saying that "There are no products affected by this package installed in this system".

Did you download and install that?

Due to this being a volunteer support forum, it is not often staffed by official Microsoft Support staff. I would recommend you completely erase Office , reinstall it then try adding the language again. Sign in with the account you associated with this version of Office. This account can be a Microsoft account, or work or school account.
